 The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes under the Ministry of Finance, Tax Zone-6 Dhaka has recently issued a notification for recruitment of manpower in multiple vacant posts. Residents of specific districts given in the notification can apply online subject to fulfillment of eligibility.

 

Position Name: Computer Operator

Number of posts: 1

Salary Scale: 12,500-30,230 (Grade-11)

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's (Honors) or equivalent degree in Science from a recognized University. Must pass Standard Aptitude Test in computer typing with a speed of 25 words per minute in Bengali and 30 words per minute in English.

Residents of the districts to apply: Candidates from all the districts of Dhaka division.

 

Position Name: Shorthand cum Computer Operator

Number of posts: 3

Salary Scale: 11,000-26,590 (Grade-13)

Qualifications and Experience: At least second class or equivalent from a recognized university Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CGPA. Computer literate. Must be experienced in word processing, e-mail and fax machine management. The minimum speed in shorthand writing is 50 words per minute in Bengali and 60 words in English and the minimum speed in computer typography is 25 words per minute in Bengali and 30 words per minute in English.

Position Name: High Quality Assistant

Salary Scale: 10,200-24,60 (Grade-14)

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Passed basic training course in computer. Must be experienced in word processing, e-mail and fax machine management.

Position Name: Shorthand Typist Computer Operator

Qualifications and Experience: At least second class or equivalent from a recognized university

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CGPA. Computer literate. Must be experienced in word processing, e-mail and fax machine management. The minimum speed in shorthand writing is 45 words per minute in Bengali and 80 words in English and the minimum speed in computer typography is 25 words per minute in Bengali and 30 words per minute in English.

Position Name: Office Assistant cum Computer Typist

Number of posts: 6

Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490 (Grade-16)

Eligibility and Experience: Passed HSC or equivalent examination in at least second class or equivalent GPA from any recognized board. Computer literate. Must be experienced in word processing, e-mail and fax machine management. The minimum speed in computer typography is 20 words per minute in Bengali and 20 words per minute in English.

Position Name: Driver

Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490 (Grade-16)

Eligibility and Experience: Passed Junior School Certificate or equivalent examination from 8th class or any recognized board. Must have a valid light driving license to drive a light vehicle. Preference will be given to experienced candidates.

Salary Scale: 8,250-20,010 (Grade-20)

Eligibility and Experience: Passed SSC or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Age limit

Candidates who are between 18 to 30 years of age on November 1 will be considered eligible to apply. The maximum age limit for children of freedom fighters / martyrs and the physically challenged will be 18 to 32 years. However, those who have reached the maximum age limit on March 25, should apply You can. Apart from this, the age limit for departmental candidates working in the tax department is relaxed up to 40 years as opposed to the posts of shorthand cum computer operator, short-typewriter cum computer operator and office assistant cum computer typist.
